Dr Bhairavi Patel is an Internal Medicine and Geriatrics board certified physician who completed her medical school training in India, after which she continued her career with internal medicine residency training from New York with fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine from NYU. Her husband is a pediatrician who specializes in adult and pediatric neurology.

They lived in New York City for five years working as resident physicians after which they moved to Chapel Hill, NC, to accomplish her husband’s fellowship training in Neurology. Always wanting to return to the same small town where her husband grew up and completed his high school from, they then moved to Apple Valley with their three children, a 17 year old son who’s applying for college this year with the long term goal of pursuing a career in medicine and a pair of 15 year old twins, a son and a daughter, who are sophomores leaning towards a medical career as well.

Outside of work Dr B Patel enjoys gardening, listening to different types of music, doing yoga, pilates, hiking along with traveling and dancing. She has been practicing medicine since 2007.
